Welcome to Huron
Huron is located in Beadle County, South Dakota. It is the county seat of Beadle County. The Huron Plainsman, also referred to as the Plainsman, is the newspaper. The first settlement at Huron was made in 1880. The city was named after the Huron Indians. It is currently the seventh largest city in South Dakota.
In recent years Huron’s population has once again started to grow after nearly 20 years of stagnation. We are home to the South Dakota State Fair, which is held six days before Labor Day and home to a statue known as “The World’s Largest Pheasant”, which was refurbished in the summer of 2011.
If you’re in Huron and hungry, The Scoreboard Bar & Grill is THE place to go. No matter what your craving is we’re sure to satisfy it. Try our amazing prime rib or one of our fantastic burgers or baskets. Pair that with a nice cold beer while you watch live sports on our big screen TVs. Have a special event planned? We have a sideline banquet room available for your private event. Great food, great staff, great atmosphere, the only thing missing is you…
Nice little bar and grill. Good variety of food choices, and it never disapppints. The prime rib sandwich is great.
Good old burgers
The Scoreboard features a complete menu but their hamburger selection is fantastic. A burger with fries or tots can’t be beat and drinks or a beer to boot!!
Very tasty steaks. Really great service
Great food, good service
When I do go out to eat, I love this place. They are really fair with prices and the food is delicious. The service is usually pretty good, it gets crowded easily but they do well with serving when its really busy.
Amazing burger and solid beer options. Super friendly staff and laid back atmosphere.
Excellent! Chill bar with great food. Large tvs with sports right up my husband’s alley. I was able to have a glass of Merlot and relax. Loving my life!
